Welcome to the British Alpaca Futurity 2009.

This premier event in the alpaca calendar has a new venue. Building on the success of the last two events the Futurity has moved to a new 3100m² facility at Stoneleigh Park. This modern facility just south of Birmingham is close to major motorways and main roads and within a short ride from international airports and main line stations.

The Futurity will again be showing off the best of British breeding with show classes on the Friday and Saturday judged by Amanda Vandenbosch (USA).

There will be authoritative seminars on matters neonatal, alpaca reproduction and farm marketing. A number of trade stands will be selling fashion garments and textiles along with those associated businesses selling feed and handling equipment. For the first time entries are invited for a FibreCrafts section featuring hand spinning, knitting, weaving and felting plus a Photography and Art competition with plenty of opportunities for children to take part.

A professional fashion show, elite auction, champagne reception, prize draw and celebration dinner will complete the two days of The British Alpaca Futurity.
