Breeder’s Promotional Pens
Public access will be allowed in the alpaca penning area. However, in the likely event that space becomes limited, priority for public access will be given to Breeder’s Promotional Pens and Sponsor’s Pens.
A limited number of breeder’s promotional pens will be offered to those exhibitors wishing to set up a farm promotion area within their penning space. Such additional space will be limited to one extra 2.5m × 2.5m pen at a cost of £250 plus VAT. Access will be limited to one side of the penning, with another side available for alpaca access on walkways to the show ring. Some space will have been reserved as part of the Silver Sponsorship packages.
Available space is limited at this venue so early application is recommended for those wishing to take this opportunity. The application form is available within the forms section of this booklet.
Breeders will also be able to leave their farm promotional material free of charge within the specially designated area for alpaca breeders’ information situated on the main floor outside the penning area.
Breeder’s Farm or Trade Banners
Breeders exhibiting alpacas will be allowed to hang their banners on the penning hurdles, if such space is available to them, as part of their alpaca entry fees.
For other trades and all alpaca breeders, whether entering alpacas in the show classes or not, space will be available to hang farm banners on the rear wall of the venue at a cost per banner of £l50 plus VAT. Such banners will need to be made available in advance of the event and will be hung by the venue contractors. Breeders will not be allowed to hang their own banners or have them hung once the Futurity opens on 27th February. Positioning of such banners will be determined by the Futurity group and no guarantee is given or implied that they will be positioned in accordance with a breeder’s penning space.
Please note that banners will need to be lodged with the Futurity on or before Thursday 26th February.
Space booking form is available within the forms section.
Breeders will also be able to leave their farm promotional material free of charge within the specially designated area for alpaca breeders’ information situated on the main floor outside the penning area.
