Seminars
The British Alpaca Futurity 2009 has a line-up of five speakers who will give seminars on Alpaca Herd Health, Neonatal Care, the new British Alpaca Society genetic evaluation scheme, Fibre processing in the UK and that all important topic—marketing and selling alpacas. The lectures will take place during the day on Friday and Saturday in the Wolfson Theatre which will be clearly signed from Exhibition Hall One. You will find a booking form for the seminars on the strap on the outside of the catalogue or on the forms section of this website. Ticket price covers admission to all seminars on both days.
Fashion Show
The Futurity 2009 fashion show will be run during the lunch break on Friday 27th February in the Judging ring when all exhibitors and visitors will be present. The show will be repeated during the Champagne Reception (ticket entrance only) on Saturday evening.
The show will be designed by a professional stylist and producer featuring some of the most exciting alpaca designs available followed by an exclusive British only section featuring garments created and made by UK designers.
British designers wishing to make an entry for this opportunity to display their garments on professional models on the catwalk should complete the application form.
Champagne Reception and Evening Celebration Dinner
The culmination of the 2009 British Alpaca Futurity will take place on the evening of Saturday 28th February in The Avon Suites 1 and 2.
This will be a black tie event with champagne reception and fashion show starting the evening’s entertainment, followed by the Celebration Dinner, Prize Draw and presentation of awards followed by dancing.
Table reservations will be by advance ticket only. Tables will be limited to ten place settings. Those wishing to book space on behalf of clients must do so and pay at the time of booking to ensure such clients will be seated on their tables.

Futurity Catalogue Advertising
Alpaca Breeders and Trades are invited to book advertising space within the Futurity Catalogue.
The Futurity catalogue will be mailed to over 1000 targeted alpaca owners throughout the UK, mainland Europe, Australia and USA. It will also be available on the door for the duration of the event. This is an excellent way not only to show your support for the alpaca industry and the Futurity show, but to place your farm or trade name in front of a targeted alpaca audience.
